Adio - Shin [Full Album] Although not the first band ever to combine Georgian folk with jazz-rock, Adio was definitely the one that merged them in a full-on way never yet done before. Created in 1991, the band relocated to Germany in mid-90s recording this album that boasts top-notch sound quality, a feat rarely present in Georgian recordings from that era. Sadly, band split up soon after recording this beautiful, mostly instrumental music. Most band members stayed in Germany and within the year of Adio's end, The Shin was born was their splinter group. The Shin is active to this day and it is by far the most successful Georgian ethno-jazz / jazz-fusion band.
