From late 50s to the 80s, Giuli Chokheli was one of the foremost jazz singers in Soviet Union, drawing large crowds anywhere she held a concert and frequenting many festivals abroad. This is her debut album, recorded with her husband, Boris Richkov, directing the band, released at a time when almost nobody in the USSR popular music recorded such a large piece of work. So it has a big historic importance as one of the earliest Soviet jazz LPs.
