Learn Georgian with Georgian2go - To Have/At the Market + Written Forms (7)
There are two types of \"to have\" in the Georgian Language, the animate and the inanimate forms. In this Video, we focus on the inanimate form of the verb which is: ქონა (kona). We perform a little scene at the market, introduce you to new vocabulary, show you how to write: მე მაქვს, შენ გაქვს, მას აქვს, ჩვენ გვაქვს, თქვენ გაქვთ, მათ აქვთ) and we end the episode with some homework, for you to practice to strengthen your skills.

0:07 Anna and Raoul are standing next to a sign \"ბაზარი\" (the market). Anna is facing the audience. She is brunette woman in her late thirties, wearing a black hoodie with colorful Letters forming \"Vogue, Italy\", she's wearing red lipstick. Next to her is Raoul, with his back towards the camera. Raoul is wearing a gray Pullover. Today, we're at the market, this is the market: says Anna pointing turning around to the sunflowers.
0:14 Now Raoul turns around. He is a friendly, dark haired bearded man in his late thirties. At the market, there are a lot of Potatoes, Tomatoes and Bananas, as well as Bell Peppers: he says with an enormous shiny bell pepper in his hand.
0:23 Raoul sees Anna and greets her. Hi Anna, how are you? Hi Raoul, I\"m well and you? Not to bad! What do you have there?: he esquires pointing at something orange Anna is holding in her right hand.
An orange, she replies and asks what he has. To which he responds with: I have a bell pepper using a simpler word for it.
0:42 the frame freezes, with an explanation
0:51 Anna turns around to the camera she smiles, saying I have an orange and you have a bell pepper. Pointing at herself and then at Raoul when she addresses him. Then they both turn around.
1:01 Badri Badijani pops into the picture, he is holding a juicy lemon. Raoul turns to the audience. Look, our friend Badri Badrijani (Eggplant). He has a Lemon! Anna has not been paying attention. What does he have, she asks as she turns to Raoul. Raoul repeats the phrase. Suddenly Anna notices her thirst and expresses the wish for a glass of Lemonade. Wait a minute says Raoul as he walks off...
1:28 Different setting, lots of fruits and vegetables. There's a wooden door with Lemonade ლიმონათი with an arrow pointing to the left. Raoul greets, an invisible seller and asks if she has lemonade. Within seconds Raoul receives two plastic cups filled with the fresh liquid to quench their thirst. He thanks the seller and leaves with two delicious cups.
1:39 Raoul hands Anna her lemonade, which happens to be in a yellow cup (which is her favorite color), while he keeps the red one (which happens to be his color of preference). After thanking Raoul, they simultaneously take a sip and turn to the camera.
1:48 We have Lemonade, Anna announces to the viewers.
1:52 Salome and Shalva appear in the background with something massive between them. Raoul notices them and points them out to Anna. Look Shalva and Salome, what do they have? They have a massive Tomato. Raoul and Anna turn to the audience laughing.
