Georgian (ქართული ენა, romanized: kartuli ena, pronounced [kʰartʰuli ɛna]) is a Kartvelian language spoken by Georgians. It is the official language of Georgia. Georgian is written in its own writing system. In this introductory episode, we teach you some simple grammatical structures and your first Georgian words. We hope you enjoy this episode!

It's eight meters high and was installed in the heart of the city in 2007. The Ali and Nino statues are one of the main attractions of the Batumi Boulevard but were forced to be relocated due to coastal erosion under the monument's foundations. Dispite having different beliefs, they overcome all obstacles and manage to get married, however, due to the outbreak of the first world war, Ali chooses to fight for his country and sadly gets killed. At 7pm every evening, the sculptures move towards each other, converge and separate, lit in different colors.
