“I vaguely remember how we built this house, when I was helping my grandfather…”

Koba Pipia lives in village Chjvaleri with his wife and two little kids … In his free time he revives craft, which was given to him from his ancestors… Generally he makes wooden ware.

„Some trees have round sprouts, which need to be cut out, it should be twisted but without cracs.“

“He has no special technology, he tries to make simple things…

he uses some in his house, and he presents the rest of his work to friends and neighbors

“During the work I think about different things:my family, make plans, sometimes I get very tired and have a rest…Every objects becomes different ,so after finishing one you have a desire to do it again and again…

“For example, I make a veil that is ecologically safe, it has a lid ... We use it for water, cheese and milk…”

“He thinks, that woodwork, which is his family tradition, it should be transfered to future generation”.

Traditions makes the relations more interesting and strong…
once children sat down near me and have asked to make for them wooden spoons.
