I think of you, and I can almost see you,
I think and it's sunny once more,
Darling, what made your arrival so hard?
Darling, how come you are so late?
Now, these feelings are even greater,
Now the winds are rocking willows,
I will tell you about my tragedy
and like a child I will start weeping.
So will pass the torture and groan,
You will come to me with pale hands,
You will come tired and ask me: how are you?
I know you’ll come and will caress me…
Yet, the night will be of torment,
The night that’s cruel and merciless,
And these eyes, my eyes,
These blue eyes still await.

მე შენზე ვფიქრობ და თითქოს გხედავ
ვფიქრობ და თითქოს დღეა მზიანი
ძვირფასო მოსვლა რად გაგიძნელდა
ძვირფასო რისთვის დაიგვიანე,
ახლა ეს გრძნობა უფრო მეტია
ახლა ქარები არხევენ ტირიფს
მე შენ გიამბობ ჩემს ტრაგედიას
და როგორც ბავშვი დავიწყებ ტირილს,
ასე გაივლის წამება, ოხვრა
შენ მოხვალ ჩემთან თეთრი ხელებით
მოხვალ დაღლილი მეტყვი-როგორ ხარ?
მოხვალ და ვიცი მომეფერები...
თუმცა იქნება ღამე წამების
ღამე სასტიკი და ულმობელი
და ეს თვალები, ჩემი თვალები
ლურჯი თვალები, ისევ მოგელის...
