ეს - es – this / this one
ის - is – that / that one
ის მინდა - I want that one
კი - k’i - yes
ახალი - akhali – new/fresh
მომეცი(თ) - please give me
რა - what
ღირს - ghirs – it costs x
თუ შეიძლება - tu shedzleba – very polite form of please
ძვირი - dzviri - expensive
იაფი - iapi - cheap
დამიკელი(თ) – damik’elit - give me a discount
იყოს – ik’’os - let it be
გამომართვი(თ) - gamomartvit – take it from me



მოხალისე: ეს მაწონი ახალია?
Mokhalise: es mats’oni akhalia?
Volunteer: Is this matsoni fresh?

ქალი: კი, ახალია.
Kali: k’i, akhalia
Woman: Yeah it’s fresh.

მოხალისე: მომეცით, თუ შეიძლება. ყველი რა ღირს?
Mokhalise: mometsit, tu shedzleba. K’’veli ra ghirs?
Volunteer: Alright, please give it to me. How much is the cheese?

ქალი: ცხრა ლარი.
Kali: tskhra lari.
Woman: 9 lari.

მოხალისე: ძვირია. ცოტა დამიკელით.
Mokhalise: dzviria. Tsot’a damik’elit.
Volunteer: It’s expensive. Give me a little bit of a discount.

ქალი: კარგი. იყოს რვა ლარი.
Kali; k’argi. ik’’os rva lari.
Woman: Alright, let it be 8.

მოხალისე: დიდი მადლობა! გამომართვით ფული.
Mokhalise: didi madloba! Gamomartvit puli
Volunteer: Thanks a lot! Please take my money.
