Welcome to Part Two of our UAZ Buhanka road trip in Georgia. In this video we leave the eastern part of Vashlovani National Park behind and head to Eagle Gorge near Dedoplistskaro and Dali Mta Reservoir, followed by the Takhti-Tepha and Kilakupra Mud Volcanoes near the Chachuna Managed Reserve.
We continue off-road along the Iori River towards the David Gareja monastery complex. First we visit the frescoed cave monasteries at Sabereebi in the Gareji Desert, then head to the main complex to visit Lavra Monastery. Unfortunately access to Udabno Monastery was restricted at the time. We finish this part of the journey camping by Mravaltskaro Reservoir and the rainbow coloured hills.
