Part 1 of our 4x4 Georgia road trip mini-series. We hired a UAZ Buhanka campervan (our dream van ever since Mongolia • 7 Days In The Gobi, Mongolia !) in Tbilisi and spent 2 weeks exploring some remote regions of Georgia in October.
First up is spectacular Vashlovani National Park, home to an amazing variety of landscapes reminiscent of the wadis of Oman, the mountains of Upper Mustang, the deserts of Iran, and the savanna of East Africa. In this video we visit Dedoplistskaro, Pantishara Canyon, Bear Canyon, Mijniskure, and Shavi Mta (Black Mountain) over 4 days.
