“ხვალ იყო ომი” სიტყვების ლაბირინთია.
ლაბირინთი 1991-1994 წლებში სხვადასხვა ქართულ გაზეთებში აფხაზეთზე და ომზე გამოქვეყნებული სტატიების სათაურებით არის აწყობილი.
სტატიების სათაურები ერთგვარი ისტორია, დროის ანარეკლია, რომლებიც სტატიების წაკითხვის გარეშეც აღწერენ იმ დროის ფიქრებს და დამოკიდებულებებს.
სათაურები ერთგვარი დოკუმენტური პოეზიაა, რომლის ერთად გადაკითხვისას ისტორიას ვკითხულობთ.
ლაბირინთად ქცეული სიტყვები დღესაც იმ მდგომარეობის მეტაფორაა, რომელშიც ქართულ-აფხაზური ურთიერთობა იმყოფება. ისტორიის ლაბირინთი, სადაც ძაფიც დაკარგულია და ყველა ახალი სიტყვა, თითქოს ახალი კედელი ხდება.
“ხვალ იყო ომი” წარსულის მუდმივ გამეორებას, ერთ წრეზე სიარულს და დაუსრულებელ ლუპს ნიშნავს.
ნამუშევარი შექმნილია თბილისის ფოტოგრაფიის და მულტიმედია მუზეუმის რეზიდენციის \"სუბტროპიკული კულტურები\" ფარგლებში.

“Tomorrow was the war” is a labyrinth of words.
Labyrinth is built with the titles of articles about Abkhazia and war in Abkhazia printed in Georgian newspapers.
Titles of articles is some kind of history, reflection of time. Titles describe time, relations and thoughts even without reading articles. Titles are documentary poetry in which we read history.
Words turned into labyrinth is a metaphor for the condition in which Georgian Abkhazian relations are until today. Maze of history, in which thread is lost and every new word turns into a new wall.
“Tomorrow was the war” means repeating past and endless loop in which we are today.
Work is created during the residency \"Subtropical Cultures\" of Museum of Photography and Multimedia Tbilisi.
