Holy Fire descended onto Jerusalem`s Holy Sepulchre at 3 p.m. today. More than ten thousand Christians were attending the miracle that occurs at every Easter Saturday at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, the night before Orthodox Easter (Pascha). The ceremony of the lighting of the Holy Fire took place at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, led by the Patriarch of Jerusalem, Theofilos, with representatives of all the Orthodox churches in attendance.\r

Traditionally, before entering the church, the patriarch takes off the celebration clothes after what he is precisely searched not to let him take something that lights candles into the church. მართლმადიდებელი სამყაროს ყველაზე დიდი სასწაული. დღის სამ საათზე მაცხოვრის საფლავიდან წმინდა ცეცხლი გადმოვიდა. იერუსალიმის მაცხოვრის ტაძარში სასწაულს, რომელიც წელიწადში მხოლოდ ერთხელ ხდება, ათი ათასზე მეტი ქრისტიანი ელოდა. საყდრიდან ცეცხლი იერუსალიმის პატრიარქმა თეოფილემ გამოიტანა.\r
