What are the obstacles for the strikes so that this form of protest could have the desired outcome? How real is it for the people employed in the heavy industry to claim their demands through this form? What is the experience of the strikes in Chiatura and Zestaponi and what was the response of the enterprises’ administration and the state to their protest? What are the challenges to the strikes, preventing employees to realize their rights, in respect of the legislative level and in practice?
