Political party financing is recognized as one of the most important parts of political processes internationally. It directly influences the ways in which political parties communicate with their constituencies prior to and in-between elections, and the approaches they take to engage in general politics. Yet, In Georgia this topic has not been studied properly. To date there are no comprehensive monitoring or analytical reports that would look at the evolution of political party financing after the change of government in 2003 and its effects on shaping national politics.\r
