Artist in focus • Merab Gugunashvili (მერაბ გუგუნაშვილი, 1990) was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. He studied at Tbilisi State Academy of Art (TSAA), graduated from the faculty of Design with a master’s degree in Artistic Ceramic. He works in different mediums: ceramics, textiles, painting and installation. His main themes include social stereotypes, gender, identity and sexuality.
