Gozinaki - New Year sweets. New Year greeting with honey - one of the essential components of Abramyan. In some parts of Georgia (Imereti, Racha) Gozinaki was called Churchkhela. According to the belief of the ancient religion of the Georgian people, honey and walnuts were considered sacred food and were sacrificed to \"gentlemen\" - honey was mixed in a Christmas cork, nuts were eaten by \"gentlemen\" (base). In Svaneti, on the day of Lifanali, a mixture of honey and milk was sprinkled on the road, as if the souls of the dead were returning.
