Tsangala Da Gogona (The quickly fellow and the girl)
A Kakheti comical round dance song. It is most commonly sung during festivities in the countryside (notably: wrestling competitions) and gives great impulse and encouragement to singers and dancers. Usually this type of songs has (partially) improvised texts.
\"The guy is a good dancer and often dances on his toes (the Georgian way). If he ever stumbles or hurts his toes, it will be because of the girl's mistake.\"
Folk-lore ensemble ''Kolkheti'' was created in 1980 under initiative is state philharmonic society. The idea of it`s creation belongs to Givi Shanidze who has been a permanent soloist and manager of the ensemble up to present. Givi Shanidze, Nugzar Psuturi, Gia Psuturi, Giorgi Akhrakhadze, Jemal Akhrakhadze, Aleksi Goderdzishvili and Valerian Gatenashvili are thoroughly talented musicians. Besides singing, each of them masters Georgian national instruments, as well as guitar and keyboard instruments. Because of the ensemble is touring.
In February, 1998 the ensemble ''Kolkheti'' was conferred a supreme honor of state. Manager of the ensemble Givi Shanidze was rewarded by Order of Honor, the other members by Medals of Honor. Ensemble ''Kolkheti'' has given concerts in all regions of Georgia, as well as in all foreign countries.
ფოლკლორული ანსამბლი ,,კოლხეთი'' შეიქმნა 1980 წელს. მისი შექმნის ინიციატორია საქართველოს სახელმწიფო ფილარმონია, ხოლო იდეას ხორცი შეასხა გივი შანიძემ, რომელიც დღემდე ანსამბლის უცვლელი სოლისტი და ხელმძღვანელია. გივი შანიძე, ნუგზარ ფსუტური, გიორგი ფსუტური, გიორგი ახრახაძე, ჯემალ ახრახაძე, ალექსანდრე გოდერძიშვილი, ვალერიან გათენაშვილი მრავალმხრივი ნიჭით დაჯილდოებული მუსიკოსები არიან. თითოეული მათგანი სიმღერასთან ერთადკარგად ფლობს, როგორც ქართულ ხალხურ ინსტრუმენტებს, ასევე გიტარას და კლავიშებიან საკრავებს. ამის გამო ანსამბლის რეპერტუარი მრავალფეროვანია. მისი პროგრამა იცვლება იმისდა მიხედვით, თუ რომელ ქვეყანაში მიემგავრება ანსამბლი საგასტროლო მოგზაურობაში.
ანსამბლმა ,,კოლხეთმა'' 1998 წლის თებერვალში მიიღო სახელმწიფო უმაღლესი წოდება, ღირსების ორდენით დაჯილდოვდა ანსამბლის ხელმძღვანელი გივი შანიძე, ხოლო ანსამბლის დანარჩენი წევრები ღირსების ორდენებით.
ანსამბლ ,,კოლხეთს'' ჩატარებული აქვს კონცერტები საქართველოს ყველა რეგიონში, ასევე საზღვარგარეთის 40 ქვეყანაში.
