This lecture is about organized stalking and harassment. Very often, the information dispersed on the internet about organized stalking has some mythological air to it. It is most likely that some of the stories at least, having this low-credibility feel, are deliberately placed by the interested parties as a diversionary or black propaganda attempts to prevent real, fact-based narratives from entering the field of focused public attention.
In this lecture it is said that behind the organized stalking and harassment practices are not some mysterious gangs or cults, etc. Instead, it is claimed that organized stalking and other psychological warfare methods are used by the governmental secret agencies on a programmatic level – by the US and Canadian federal institution, for example – as a tool for repression of dissidents, potential whistleblowers, and other “undesirables”.
The lecture also describes some methods of organized harassment. It points to certain sources as a helpful conceptual frame-provider for understanding the nature of organized stalking. In this respects three sources are mentioned. First, it is MKULTRA-like programs and projects for mind control, where complex researches in behavior modification have a good potential for the application in organized harassment of individuals in real life environment. Here John Marks’ “The Search for the Manchurian Candidate” remains one of the best introductory sources. Second is certain developments and tendencies in newest covert policing and surveillance. Here Gary Marx’ “Undercover: Police Surveillance in America” is named as a good start. Third, William Sargant’s conceptual frame is delineated. It is said that deliberate and long-term stress induction on targeted individuals as a means for their “conversion” – or brainwashing – is used in the organized stalking programs either to change targeted individual’s general political persuasion and attitudes or some particular behavioral tendencies – such as blowing the whistle, for example. In case the person in “unconvertable”, the same tool may be used as a means of psychological destabilization and distraction of the targeted individual.
Ernest Hemingway’s and Iris Chang’s cases are considered briefly and said that they might have been the subjects of the organized harassment.
It is important to know that the full-scale organized stalking and harassment could be waged only by well-established governmental covert operatives (who may use community representatives as well) and that such programs are monitored by professional psychologists, psychiatrist and other behavioral scientists. That is why this practice in the west (waged globally) is subsumable, among other things, under the category of “abuse of psychiatry” or some similar concept.
