კულტურის მეცნიერებათა ინსტიტუტს (თსუ) სტუმრობდა უნგრეთის მეცნიერებათა აკადემიის სოციოლოგიის ინსტიტუტის დირექტორი, ევროპისა და აშშ მრავალი უნივერსიტეტის პროფესორი პალ ტამაში. პროფესორმა ტამაშმა წაიკითხა ლექციები პოსტსოციალისტურ სივრცეში ტრანზიციის პრობლემებზე, იდენტობის, ტრანზიციის პერიოდში თაობათა ურთიერთობის პრობლემებსა და სხვა საკითხებზე. On December 15-22, 2008 the director of Institute of Sociology, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, professor Pal Tamas visited the Institute of Cultural Studies.
