Vodka for Three – A short film about Georgian Punk band Vodka Vtraiom

Georgian Punk band Vodka Vtraiom (Vodka for Three) was formed in 2004 by guitarist and vocalist Levan Managadze and drummer Dato Tsomaia. Celebrating its 15th anniversary as a band, Tsomaia speaks to #TbilisiUnderground about the impact the war in Abkhazia of the early 1990s had on himself and Managadze – both Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) – as well as about a new generation of fans. Footage from concerts at Tbilisi's REBUS Bar and rehearsal material from a former film studio then turned brothel now turned music studio was shot for the longer documentary coming some time later in 2019. Special thanks to Creator Bar for using its space to conduct the interview with Tsomaia. Vodka Vtraiom will be next performing in Tbilisi alongside fellow punk rockers დაგდაგანი and other bands on Sunday 27th January 2019 at Creator Bar. An event not to be missed.
