Shulaveri Fortress is a medieval centuries’ building located in the village of Shulaveri, in Marneuli Municipality, Kvemo Kartli region. It is built on a rock of bare limestone. There are small fragments of the wall of the rock-based wall. The longitudinal axis of the fortress must have been developed from north to south, but today the shape of it, is no longer clear. The remains of the wall were built of brick and flat stone, with a thick layer of lime. The walls are survived about a meter high above ground level.
