\"Tsin Tskaro\", or \"Tsintskaro\" (Georgian: წინწყარო) is a Georgian folk song from the Kartli-Kakhetian region. Its title loosely translates as, \"By the Spring.\" The song is usually performed by a male vocalist and choir. Although this song is unfamiliar to most Westerners, its haunting melody has been seized on by Western artists, who have incorporated the song into their works of art, such as the Kate Bush song \"Hello Earth\", and the Werner Herzog 1979 remake of Nosferatu.
There is a famous film which won many awards - \"Baraka\" - meaning \"Blessing\" in English. The producers' idea was to show the beauty of humanity and to stress that men are brothers. \"Tsintskaro\" song is mixed in throughout the movie. You should see it on YT. It is a beautiful film.
the lyrics are approximately; \"I walked by the spring
met a beautiful girl, the one holding a jar on her shoulder, I said a word
and it upsets her and she stood aside.\"
Tsintskaro is also the name of two villages in Georgia. Quelle Wikipedia
