“სინესთეზია” ახალ ქიმერიონში, რუსთაველის თეატრის გვირაბში შესრულდა, ხოლო მაყურებელმა ამავე თეატრის მცირე დარბაზში დამონტაჟებული ეკრანის საშუალებით, პირდაპირ ეთერით იხილა.
ეს ექსპერიმენტულ-პერფორმატიული პროექტი ორ ძირითად ფორმას: ვიზუალურ და სმენით სინესთეზიას აერთიანებს. პერფორმანსის ფარგლებში, ყველაფერი იმპროვიზაციასა და სპონტანურობაზეა დამოკიდებული. ამ შემთხვევაში, მხატვრობა და მუსიკა ერთმანეთისთვის ფონის ფუნქციას არ შეასრულებს; კონკრეტულ დროსა და სივრცეში გაცვლილი იმპულსებით, ხელოვანები იქცევიან ერთ ორგანიზმად. პერფორმანსის ხანგრძლივობა ისევე განუსაზღვრელია, როგორც მისი საბოლოო შედეგი.
ტერმინი “სინესთეზია”, ანუ თანაშერგრძნება, ფსიქოლოგიაში განსხვავებულ გრძნობათა შორის არსებულ კავშირს აღნიშნავს, რაც ენობრივ კონსტრუქციებშიც ვლინდება. მაგ. “ფერადი სმენის” პირველი სამედიცინო აღწერა გერმანიაში, 1812 წელს შედგა. სინესთეზიის დროს ადამიანს შეუძლია ფერების დანახვისას ბგერების გაგონება, მუსიკის მოსმენისას ვიზუალური გამოსახულებების დანახვა; ყინულზე ხელით შეხებისას ხილის გემოს შეგრძნება და სხვა. მეცნიერებისთვის დღემდე კვლევის საგანია სინესთეზიის ფენომენი, რაც ბოლომდე შესწავლილი არაა.
პროექტს განსაკუთრებულ მნიშვნელობას რუსთაველის თეატრის განახლებული სივრცე, ახალი ქიმერიონი ანიჭებს, რომელიც თეატრის ქვედა ფოიეში, გვირაბში მდებარეობს. ამავე ადგილას, 1919-20 წლებში, არსებობდა არტისტული კაფე ,,ქიმერიონი’’, რომელიც თბილისური მოდერნიზმის განუყოფელი ნაწილი იყო და ქართული კულტურის განვითარებაში მნიშვნელოვანი წვლილი შეჰქონდა. კაფის კდლები მოხატეს - ლადო გუდიაშვილმა, დავით კაკაბაძემ, მოსე თოიძემ, სერგეი სუდეიკინმა, სიგმუნდ ვალიშევსკიმ.
განახლებული სივრცე მუდმივად დაეთმობა თანამედროვე აუდიო-ვიზუალურ და საშემსრულებლო ხელოვნებას.

“SYNESTHESIA” is a creative performance that unites music and visual arts.

On November 26, 2018 at 8:00 pm. art performance “SYNESTHESIA” will take place at the Rustaveli Theatre underground space – New Kimerioni. Creative process will be LIVE streaming for the audience on the monitors of the Small Stage at the Rustaveli Theatre.
The experimental-performative project combines two fundamental blending forms: visual and hearing SYNESTHESIA perception. Performance manifests through total improvisation and spontaneity.
In this case, art and music deliberately layers one another: through interchanging impulses at a particular space and time, artists become like one organism. The duration of the performance is just as unlimited as a final result of the creative process.
The term SYNESTHESIA or co-perception in psychology is a condition in which two or more bodily senses are coupled. For example, the first medical description of “colored hearing” was found in Germany in 1812. In the state of synesthesia one may perceive music through colours, or visualize certain objects while hearing sounds or music, feeling a taste of fruits while touching ice, etc. The phenomenon of synesthesia and co-perception of colour in hearing has not been fully examined yet. With increased scientific knowledge and public outreach, awareness of this condition is growing worldwide.
The Rustaveli Theatre renewed space, New Kimerioni, located in the lower foyer of the theater in the tunnel, grants unique significance to the project.
In 1919-1920, at the very place there was an artistic art café “Kimerioni”, which was an integral part of Georgian modernism and contributed a lot to the development of Georgian culture in general. “KIMERIONI” used to unite young artists. The venue is full of paintings and frescoes by highly acclaimed local and international painters – Lado Gudiashvili, Davit Kakabadze, Mose Toidze, Sergey Sudeikin, Sigmund Valishevski, etc.
The New Kimerioni is a unique space that unites contemporary artists and this platform will be permanently used for displaying diverse contemporary audio-visual and performing art works.
