მწირი (Mtsiri, Мцыри, Mtsyri), were active from the middle of the '70's, as a rock band. 10 years after, in 1984, their sound became much more hard rock heavymetal, and in 1990 , finally, they started to record some of their songs on tapes. in 1991 they partecipated to the festival contest Live in Liepājas Dzintars festival , Latvia, and they were the Winners , as the best band!!!
their only Official recording was the live version of the song \"Warning\" , appeared in the ''Рок против террора\" double live LP, which was recorded on 6th April 1991 in Moscow .
what has remained of this awesome band were only 5 / 6 songs, circulating in the underground, on unofficial tapes, and some video documentaries.
this is my tribute for them, with my favorite 4 songs.

along with Rkinis Raindi, Gremi, Betlemi, Ocean, were one of the few , historical and best bands of old heavymetal from Georgia, a movement of bands started in the end of the '80's until early years of '90's.
Rkinis Raindi (რკინის რაინდი), Gremi, Betlemi and Mtsiri they were the first and most important band to play heavymetal in Georgia, ok there were Heavy Cross too, at the same time, but i dont want to include them together , because a fact of quality of the songs...
the bassist Soso Kamalov played in Gremi too.
Gremi were a band much more Deep Purple / Rainbow oriented :

with some other tracks much more rock '70 :
