Reports to:  Head of Reporting, Financial Analysis and Budgeting Department

Department: Reporting, Financial Analysis and Budgeting

Duty Station: Head Office


Reporting Specialist is responsible for preparation of various reports assigned to her/him, including: NBG, IFRS and management reports.


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepares reports based on the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
  • Supports external auditors by preparing IFRS Financial Statements and providing all requested information for the audit purposes;
  • Reports to the National Bank of Georgia (NBG), including supervisory and macroeconomic reporting;
  • calculations of mandatory reserves, and any other reports requested by the NBG;
  • Utilizes all available technical means to ensure the maximum level of automation of reporting;
  • Communicates with Information Systems Department to explore options and automate all standard reports to the possible extent;
  • Provides analytical support to management on the budgeting and forecasting process, including collecting and consolidating data from the functional units, analyzing and extrapolating past trends, incorporating budget assumptions into the plans;
  • Controls budget compliance by generating budget-versus-actual reports;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Required qualifications and skills:

  • Academic degree in Business/Finance required;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in financial reporting (NBG or IFRS);
  • Working experience in external audit company is a strong plus;         
  • Basic accounting certification (ACCA, CPA) would be an advantage;
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Power Point;
  • Basic knowledge of IFRS, Tax Code and NBG regulations is desirable;
  • Fluency in Georgian and English languages both spoken and written, good knowledge of Russian language.
